Jamie Hernandez

Jamie's love for performing came at an early age when she, her sisters and her cousins created a performance group and acted skits and song-and- dance numbers in front of her family during parties. Although she shied away from the drama department at school, she found her niche by participating in show choir during her high school years.

During college, she put her performing career on hold to learn the business of television and film from

behind the camera. After graduating from California State University, Northridge with a degree in Radio-Television-Film, Jamie continued her career behind-the-scenes, but her love of performing kept resonating in her.

She is currently studying acting and can be seen on a couple of music videos and shows. She joined hereandnow in Fall 2006 and credits the group with helping her further pursue her passion for acting.
